Song Of Zacharias

Zacharias, rejoiced in his day when he received the visit of the angel proclaiming the long awaited news that the herald of the coming Messiah of Israel was to be born – and he was to be his father. No wonder that full of the Holy Ghost, Zacharias voiced his exultant song of praise:-

“Blessed is the Lord God of Israel,
For He has visited and redeemed His people,
And has raised up a horn of salvation for us
In the house of His servant David 

As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets
who’ve been since the world began,
That we should be saved from our enemies
And from the hands of all who hate us…” Luke 1:68-79
