Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to Your name give glory. § Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? § In lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. § Be clothed with humility.
[Jesus] was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. § All who sat in the council, looking steadfastly at [Stephen], saw his face as the face of an angel. § The glory which You gave Me I have given them. § We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp-stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
