We have turned, every one, to his own way.

Noah … planted a vineyard. Then he drank of the wine and was drunk. § [Abram] said to Sarai his wife, … “Please say you are my sister, that it may be well with me.”  § Isaac said to Jacob, … “Are you really my son Esau?” [Jacob] said, “I am.” § Moses … spoke rashly. § The men of Israel … did not ask counsel of the Lord … Joshua … made a covenant with them. § David did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, and had not turned aside from anything that He commanded him all the days of his life, except in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.

All these … obtained a good testimony through faith. § [All are] justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. § The Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

“Not for your sake do I do this,” says the Lord God, “let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your own ways.”
