Be not far from Me, for trouble is near.

How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? § Do not hide Your face from me; do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation.

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. § The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.

I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. § Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. § Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation … My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him.
