Change and decay in all around I see..
Oh Thou Who changes not..
Abide with me.

He is With You

In all the changing scenes and situations of life that overtake you.. be serene and unperturbed. Do not fret or fume. Am I not with you – sailing in the same little barque in which you are traveling?

Patiently Endure

Be patient. Endure patiently.. and let patience have her perfect work in you. This is My desire – for this pleases Me. Though the nations rage and the seas roar.. do not be overwhelmed by troubles. Am I not with you? How can life overwhelm you.. when I am at the helm of your craft? Remember my three faithful children.. Dan.3:19ff.

God’s Protection

Though they walked in the midst of the furious fire.. no harm could befall them. I am with you in your storms and will guide you through life’s flames. With them you must cry… our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of thine hand, O king…. but if not….” Also, consider my servant Job.. Job:1-2..He was perfect in his way and yet he had much to learn of Me, as do you. And through his travail.. he discovered an intimacy with Me, that few discover.

Lessons to Learn

Shall you learn these secrets in the easy places of life or in deep troubles? Job confessed:  Though he slay me …YET… will I trust Him. Job 13:15. My rod and staff are designed to correct as well as to comfort. Those I love I chasten – so that you will grow in grace and mature in the faith. Learn of me in the trials of life. Trust me through the pains and disappointments.

Trust in the Lord

In all the changing scenes and situations of life that overtake you.. be serene and unperturbed. Endure patiently.. and let patience have her perfect work in you. And one day you will here those words. well done good and faithful servant.. enter thou into the joy of your Lord, Matt.25:23

Through all the changing scenes of life,
in trouble and in joy,
the praises of my God shall still
my heart and tongue employ.

O magnify the Lord with me,
with me exalt his Name;
when in distress to Him I called,
he to my rescue came.

The hosts of God encamp around
the dwellings of the just;
deliverance He affords to all
who on His succour trust.

O make but trial of His love;
experience will decide
how blest are they, and only they
who in His truth confide.

Fear Him, ye saints, and you will then
have nothing else to fear;
make you His service your delight;
your wants shall be His care.

For God preserves the souls of those
who on His truth depend;
to them and their posterity
His blessing shall descend.
