“Immanuel,” . . . “God with us.”

Will God indeed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. § The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. § Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh.

God … has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds.

The first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, … Jesus came and stood in the midst … Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord … After eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them … Then [ Jesus] said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.” … Thomas … said … “My Lord and my God!” § Unto us a Son is given, … called … Mighty God.
